Instead of entering, go to the east and enter the cave there. The entrance to the Droog Village is right there. Climb up to the top of the cliff and then go over the southern span. Keep going to the west and then to the north at the sign post. Cross it and the kill all the Droog on the other side. To the west there is a long walkway that arcs over the canyon. Go up the lift to continue on your way to the Droog village. Kill it and continue on your way to the lift. There you will have to battle the Droog Captain. Cross over a few bridges until you come to a smaller bridge. Take him along if you need some more melee strength. He offers to join your troupe for 455,740 gold. Soon enough you will encounter a lone person on the road, a warrior named Ulfgrim (38 Melee, 0 Ranged, 0 Nature Magic, 0 Combat Magic 34 Str, 20 Dex, 13 Int). When you come to a waterfall, turn to the south along the sole path. Pass through a natural stone archway and then follow the river to the east. Leave the little dungeon and keep going to the east. If you need a new mage, consider taking her along with you - the price certainly is right! Nothing should be new about these monsters, so I won't mention anything. Later on in the canyons you will fight other creatures, such as the Giant Wasps, Soul Stingers, Giant Lizards, Sand Rippers, Sand Bashers and Sand Mages. There are three kinds of Droog that you will have to face - Grunts, Archers and Mages. The Canyons are the homeland of the Droog, another humanoid race.
